There are few better investments out there than Medium’s $5 a month membership fee. For that price, I get an unlimited amount of entertainment, inspiration, and education from some of the most talented writers in the world. What their work has done for my growth as a writer and a human being has been immeasurable.

Having said that, though, I will be the first to admit that Medium sometimes seems to get a bit stale. If you’ve been on here very long, you can probably relate. It seems like you’re seeing the same old links time after time. The same old topics. The same old writers.

If you feel like your Medium reading experience needs a refresh, this article is for you! We’ll start with the ways most people browse the platform, then go way beyond so you can squeeze maximum reading value out of your monthly membership fee. We’ll also learn how you can leverage these reading strategies to get your writing in front of more people.

You won’t be dependent on Medium’s algorithms any longer to make sure you find the content that you most want to read. Let’s go!
