I’ll go ahead and share its main point though: EVERYTHING the narc does is designed to get an emotional reaction out of you, one that seems out of proportion with what they said or did. That allows them to paint you as “the crazy one” to mutual acquaintances. If you can learn to interrupt that reaction and give them nothing (which I admit, is not easy), you take a lot of their power away.
