Well, yes and no. I can’t give you a playbook like a football coach might give his team. I can’t give you rules like, “If they say A, you do B,” “If they do C, you do D,” and so on.
What I can do is give you a set of guidelines. These will be easy to understand intellectually, but a little harder to internalize emotionally. If you can internalize these guidelines, though, you will sap the narcissist of much of their power.
