It’s not a younger, more savvy version of Donald Trump I fear. Many prognosticators are worried about such a human phenomenon. They worry someone will learn from Trump’s mistakes, come to power, maintain better self-control than Trump did, and finish the job Trump started of destroying American democracy.

1993 was the year Rush Limbaugh gained an audience. He used his voice to take on a Democratic president who had beaten a Republican who was considered a failed one-term president. It was the beginning of hate and intolerance becoming widespread and accepted in American political discussions. Without President Bill Clinton, there would never have been Rush Limbaugh. Without Rush Limbaugh, there would never have been President Donald Trump.

What I fear is a younger, more savvy version of Rush Limbaugh.
