When I was in 7th grade, we had a pet rat in science class. The rat would get on his exercise wheel and run and run and run. My classmates would laugh and comment, “He thinks he’s going somewhere.”
No. The rat knows he’s going nowhere. He just doesn’t know what else to do.
If you don’t believe me, just ask anyone who works in the corporate world.
