Why aspiring Medium writers would want to sign up for my weekly newsletter: As a former teacher, I want us all to learn together. For each story, I include

• What topics the story got distributed in — this can be vital for learning what works in getting distributed
• What publication accepted the submitted story
• When I self-publish, what publication (if any) asked to pick the story up. (This happens quite a bit once you start getting distributed regularly)

Also, this week I had my first viral story. Next week’s newsletter will include an analysis of possible reasons that story took off. As much as I can in these newsletters, I intend to make mutual learning a focus.
